Generic ACTH Gel (Corticotropin)

BioSim has been actively engaged in bringing to market the first copy of ACTH GEL to the US market. Research and development began in 2012 with the vision of creating a generic drug that won't be denied by insurance due to cost. That process allowed Biosim to quickly build its intellectual property in the area of follow-on biologics.

Adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH) is a pituitary hormone that stimulates the production and secretion of glucocorticoids by the adrenal gland. The release of ACTH is stimulated by corticotrophin-releasing factor and controlled by a negative feedback pathway in response either to endogenous or exogenous corticosteroids.

We have manufactured a ACTH Gel that rivals the brand name drug, ACTHAR© in all its attributes and in biological models.
